Strengthening Healthcare Where It Is Needed Most
Access to healthcare remains a major challenge in Libya. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), over **526,000 people require healthcare assistance**, including **118,000 internally displaced people** and **184,000 migrants**.
Years of conflict, economic instability, and limited medical resources have placed enormous pressure on hospitals and healthcare professionals. Many facilities face shortages of equipment, medication, and specialist services.
At **Lifeline Help**, medical relief is one of our core priorities. We work closely with hospitals, doctors, and healthcare institutions to deliver equipment, treatment support, and lifesaving medical assistance to those who need it most.

2022 — Healthcare Support & Medical Expansion
**Cancer Treatment Support – Tripoli Medical Centre**
* Supported an initiative to reduce radiotherapy waiting lists for breast cancer patients.
* Funded additional evening and weekend treatment sessions.
* Programme extended from 3 months to 6 months due to success.
* **902 treatment sessions delivered over 5 months**, helping significantly reduce patient delays.
We extend our gratitude to the doctors, engineers, technicians, and hospital management who made this possible.
**Medical Contributions**
* Distributed Zakat al-Fitr charitable support.
* Contributed **12,500 Libyan Dinars** to the Anaesthesia Department at Tripoli University Hospital.
* Provided **7,025 Libyan Dinars** for essential medication to a hospital in southern Libya.
* Supplied urgent anaesthesia medication to Central Medical Hospital in Tripoli.
**Dialysis & Hospital Equipment**
* Donated **30 kidney dialysis machines** to establish a dialysis centre in Sabha.
* Donated **10 dialysis machines** to Ghadwa City near Sabha.
* Donated **3 dialysis machines** to another city near Gharyan.
**Community Reconstruction**
* Donated **60,000 Libyan Dinars** to support reconstruction of homes destroyed during conflict in southern Tripoli.
2020 — COVID-19 & Emergency Medical Support
* Supplied **43 kidney dialysis machines** across Libya, including Sebha, Ghadwa, and Rural Awateh Medical Centre.
* Provided **3 dialysis machines** to a COVID isolation centre in Tripoli.
* Led international medical cooperation to help develop COVID-19 treatment protocols.
* Fundraised **$5,000** for a specialised wheelchair for a doctor in need.
* Delivered nearly **10,000 Libyan Dinars** to support a rural hospital.
2019 — Critical Care & Specialist Medical Aid
* Delivered endoscopy machines to a hospital in Sebha.
* Supplied a portable oxygen concentrator to a respiratory disease management centre.
* Donated a CPAP machine to Tripoli Medical Centre ICU.
* Provided **35,000 Libyan Dinars** worth of anaesthetic equipment for emergency and intensive care units.
* Organised free eye examinations for **234 patients** at Harabah Hospital through a specialist surgical team.

* Purchased mobile eye clinic equipment serving remote southern regions where hospital access is limited.
